These are not commonly seen being used on E30 builds in the US due to the difficulty of sourcing clean lenses. The reality of it though is this is a precursor to facelift smiley headlights, which means it utilizes a replaceable bulb instead of a sealed beam! Not only that, but these headlights have a flatter profile and sleeker lens, ultimately making for a cleaner and more aggressive Euro look.

-Light corrosion to the buckets, no structural damage though. Glass is clean and clear with no chipping or cracking. A simple sand and spray paint to the holders will have these headlights looking brand new!
