1998 BMW 528i, right hand drive, in Titan Silver Metallic, full M Sport exterior, interior, suspension and optioned wheels. 45,XXX original miles, high trim, runs and drives beautifully. What more could you ask for?
Exterior:
The paint on this car is perfect, so perfect we didn’t need to do our usual paint correction. Zero clear coat failure, no dents, no respray areas. The only damage to the exterior of this car is to the front bumper, which was crushed on delivery to the US. It is cracked on the corners but still mounted perfectly. These bumpers are still offered by BMW. The Euro spec headlights are in perfect condition, as is all of the OEM BMW glass windows.
Interior:
This could be the only e39 in America with a cloth sport interior. Seats front and back are in perfect condition, every electric adjustment working spot on. Dash board is mint, every button working including the onboard Nav unit. Radio sounds great. No pixels missing anywhere. Original BMW floor mats and dealer documents included. This car does have the usual Japanese toll machine hardwired, so it will speak in Japanese to you upon startups. All in all we absolutely love this car and everyone agrees this is the closest feeling to a new BMW you can get from anything that isn’t on the lot. Headliner is sagging in small areas. All windows work, heat blows hot and AC blows cold. Trunk has its original spare, full tool kit plus roadside kit.
Mechanical:
The M52B28 fires up immediately with zero hesitation, no odd noises, no smoke or smells. Idle is buttery smooth and transmission shifts spot on. This car drives amazing. Hands down the smoothest car we’ve imported. Plenty of power, steering is light but has great feedback. Engine bay is immaculate and original. No leaks. This car is completely rust free. Factory M Sport wheels are beautiful, no rash and the hardware is in amazing condition. Wrapped in Pilot Sport tires with ample life left.
All in all we thought about keeping this one since its SO clean and drives SO well. Whoever purchases this car will have an amazing time. This one is ready to go, needs nothing.
