1995 BMW 325i Convertible *SOLD*
1995 BMW 325i Convertible *SOLD*
A local find, offered to us by an older couple here in Portland Oregon. This is a great example of an original car in a condition that is somewhat hard to come by. This is a 1995 BMW 325i Convertible in Morea Green Metallic with a factory hard top included. Currently mileage reads 122,7xx miles. This is an automatic. Car has had 2 owners and sports a clean Carfax with service history. In preparation for listing for sale we have performed the following; new tires mounted, oil service, overall checkup with our specialist.
Exterior: The green metallic is an amazing color, silver in some lights and deep emerald in others. There is no clear coat failure anywhere on the car, paint polishes nicely and confirms it was indeed garaged for the majority of its life. Body is straight with no major dents or dings. Some small scuffs on the front and rear bumper from everyday driving, however that is the extent of any concerns. Zero rust or corrosion, all panels line up perfectly.
Interior: Beige comfort interior is in great shape. All windows are operational, seat motors all work with the exception of drivers recline (solely goes back but not forward). Heater blows hot, air conditioning blows cool but not ice cold. Aftermarket radio that works with bluetooth as well as Aux. OBC cycles through all functions perfectly with no missing pixels. All dash lights illuminate and cluster works without issue. Convertible soft top is present and original, although the plastic window does have a small tear, the cloth is in great shape. Soft top opens and closes as it should however sometimes it does get stuck in the 90% top up position. Headliner of the hard top is sagging. Front seats are clean and show minimal wear, no large rips or tears, however there are some age related creases in the passenger seat. Rear seats are in great condition. Door cards are experiencing the usual e36 glue failure.
Mechanical: Car fires right up with no odd noises or smells, idles perfectly and can do 80 on the freeway or sit in city traffic with no concerns. We put roughly 100 miles on the car in 4 days and had zero issues, no overheating or leaks. Steering is tight, automatic transmission shifts as it should. Engine has plenty of power. The shocks are tired, however its not an immediate requirement.
All in all, this is a great cruiser, daily, or car to build out. We have the original dealer manuals and booklet from when it was new. Car does also have a full tool kit and untouched spare.
Car comes with a clean Oregon title in the buyers name.
