Our first Peugeot! Heading stateside soon. We are massive fans of all things rally, 90’s, lightweight, and this is the epitome of all the above. This specific little hot hatch is a special model released to allow Peugeot to partake in a low displacement class of rally racing (1.3 liter or lower). For this specific model, a base 106 with no air conditioning, electric windows or central locking was utilized to shave weight under the makers phrase “Less frills more thrills”. A peppy, high compression 1.3 liter engine with a hot cam is snug under the hood, mated to a close ratio 5 speed manual transmission. Peugeot states this engine “comes to life” when it’s at home in the 7k rpm range. Don’t forget the fender flares, beefier sway bars, and factory fitted steel wheels for added cool factor!

This car lived the majority of its life in France, and therefor has a higher mileage than we’re usually used to seeing. We saw that as a good thing, as the low mileage examples tend to need more love than the others.

Expect pricing in the $10,000 range, we do plan on fitting appropriate gravel tires to this one to complete the look.
