1998 BMW 323i AC Schnitzer Appearance Package RHD UK *SOLD*

$15,000.00

Now available! 1998 BMW 323i, freshly imported from the United Kingdom (right hand drive). We acquired this car from a colleague of ours overseas. He sourced this car from a contact who used the vehicle as a daily driver. You’ll be hard pressed to find an e36 like this again, this is an extremely unique and period correct/original BMW. Currently clocked at 119,800 miles. Runs and drives beautifully.

Exterior:

Factory Avus blue paint is unreal in person. Zero clear coat fade, no major scuffs or dings. Mirrors and roof spoiler look to have been repainted as with a small section under the drivers rear tail light. Euro glass headlamps are in amazing condition. Full AC Schnitzer exterior kit, looks to have been dealer fitted (bumper front and rear, 3 piece spoiler, roof spoiler). M3 mirrors and side skirts. Original “deco” ACS kit with pin striping and badging all over the car, including a windshield banner. ACS Exhaust and wheels. The car does have corrosion in some of the arches and door bottoms, please see photos. This is a straightforward job replacing and blending for a skilled auto body shop, these are panels that are still available online. The underside/sills are solid and present nicely.

Interior:

A true time capsule, this car has zero odd odors or noises. Black leather comfort seats with manual adjustment in amazing shape with zero rips or tears front and back. Dash is clean, no pixels missing. All electronics working fantastic and an aftermarket radio that operates very well. Heat blows hot, AC will need a recharge. AC Schnitzer wood trim, ship knob, e brake handle and aluminum pedal covers. M sport/M3 spec steering wheel. All lights inside work. Central locking works.

Mechanical:

This car runs and drives very well. Vehicle fires right up every time, zero hesitation, no smoke or odd noises. Idle is buttery smooth and quiet. Steering is tight, as are brakes. Throttle is smooth, plenty of torque and pulls shockingly hard in the higher RPM range. No leaks or loss of fluids. No creaking/grinds or pops. Exhaust is decently quiet, a modest note which is refreshing for these cars. We have a handful of receipts from years back from the PO as well as dealer booklets with service stamps. Vehicle is lowered on Eibach springs and Sachs shocks. Cooling system keeps everything nice and cool.

All in all this one needs nothing immediate and is ready to go. The low mileage and rare, dealer fitted period correct parts make for an enticing project. A short time at a body shop and you have a seriously clean drivers spec E36 that can handle the canyons, grocery duty or even a track day.

Offered for $15,000, however we are accepting reasonable offers on this one given the corrosion (emphasis on reasonable, we will not respond to low offers). A clean Oregon title will be issued in the purchasers name.
