Fresh in on consignment! This is a good friend of D1 Euro Imports daily driver, he’s owned this car for quite a few years and has put around 50k miles on it in this time. Since then, all work has been done by himself, a large folder of records will be going with the car at time of sale. 134,xxx miles.
Exterior: Straight body with some dings, to be expected from a car of this age with the role of daily driving. Paint is quite healthy on 90% of the car with some clear coat failure on the other 10%. No rust or corrosion on the body and underside.
Interior: This car feels amazing inside. Healthy seats with all electronics functioning, no rips or tears. Wood trim is original and in great shape. Only flaw is some loose headliner fabric on the bases of the A pillars. Cold air conditioning, hot heat. Harmon Kardon optioned speakers with factory radio. Optional ski pass with bag. Vehicle belonged to a surfer in California who would place their wetsuit in the back, this led to some corrosion around the spare tire well. No holes, no major concerns.
Mechanical: Vehicle runs and drives beautifully, only complaint being some steering wheel wobble on aggressive braking. The following major work has been done within the current owners period; cooling system (OEM BMW parts), Vanos, all fluids, ignition coils, plugs, pulleys, oil pan gasket, tensioners, fuel pump/filter, window regulators, new AC condenser, hubs, axles, bushings, shocks, brake lines, rebuilt calipers, IE rear upper shock mount reinforcement, e92 rear view mirror. We wouldn’t hesitate to take this one cross country. Only other concern is a slight oil leak, roughly a drop every few days.
