Exterior:

Paint is in okay condition with some signs of wear, to be expected from a car this age. Some spots look to be original, others may have been resprayed. Body itself is very straight, no dents or major dings. All panels line up well. Glass is in good condition as is targa top (records of rebuild). Fuch wheels are straight, no odd noises or bends. Seals on the windows to top are okay, visually not great but the seal is shockingly solid. Paint shines bright in the sun, beautiful metallic hues. Bumpers are straight, no missing parts or oddities.

Interior:

This car is extremely original inside. Dash is in great condition, seats are the optioned sport models that have a more aggressive bolstering. Drivers seat does not recliner forward (to allow passenger to the back) however the passenger side does. Rear seats are in amazing condition, passenger side rear seat retention pin screw is not mounted (stuck in the strap). Front driver and passenger seats have seam separation (see photo). Carpets are original and clean, as is center console. Gauges all light up, tach is intermittent (non op for us). Windows roll up and down, door locks function properly. One button on the lower console is removed but included. Dash vents have misc missing fins. Blowers work well, ac does not blow cold. Blower switches are semi finicky but work with experience. Seat adjustments are in perfect working condition. Radio will not turn on for us but is aftermarket and fits well.

Mechanical:

Running driving car but will need attention to the fuel injection system. On higher RPM’s the car tends to sputter and ping, however lower RPM’s it drives beautifully. Transmission has records of service, shift is easy and smooth with experience. Clutch is heavy and consistent. Car has fired up quickly for us with no smoke. Steering feels on par with other 911sc’s. Slight un alignment but does not pull. Slow oil leak, but generally very tidy underneath. Idle is consistent with cold start and warm driving, temps stay in the correct range in the city or on the freeway.
